Is God at Work in My Brokenness?

God is always working even when we can’t quite see it yet, then again maybe we can and we just aren’t paying close enough attention. We feel broken and wonder, “where is God in this”? We forget that God is a healer, it is in our brokenness that he is able to mold, heal, and change us for his purpose. Often where we think God is least present and least active, is actually his prime location. If we were perfect then there would be no need for the cross... But that’s just it, we’re not perfect, none of us are. We are all broken and we are blessed enough to serve a God who wants to meet us in that place of brokenness, that place of pain, that place of defeat, and we serve a God who not only wants to meet us there but who wants to love us and ignite purpose within us. That’s pretty cool if you ask me.  Being broken isn’t a sign of weakness, it is apart of our human nature and a necessary element in life to be truly changed and molded by God.  Outside of my own brokenness, the most apparent

End Times

We hear lots of talk especially right now about living in the end times. Most people are pretty nervous, anxiety levels are hightened, worry is elevated but despite all that there is also revival happening even if it is primarily behind the scenes. What I find interesting is that to so many people the idea that we’re living in the end times is a new concept, when in reality every generation that has ever lived was living in the end times. Every event that has ever taken place and that ever will was and is to get us closer to the return of our true King. This isn’t a scary phenomenon, it is written and it will pass. Don’t live in fear. We are in the end times, we always have been, the only d

Last Chance

What if we all lived every day like it was our last, because who knows; it could be. What would change if we lived this way? Our attitude? Our demeanor? Our habits? The way we treated one another? Would we love as if love is blind? Without questioning and criticizing one another? Would we live each moment with passion and purpose? Would we rise up to our calling and seize every opportunity, knowing it could be our last? Would we share our thoughts and be authentic rather then fitting or trying to fit in the lines society has placed like a barricade? Instead of sleeping through life would be begin to actually live it? Would we call that family member or friend instead of just saying " I'll do it later"? Would we say the words " I love you" more often? If we lived like today was our last day would we lay down our lives for a cause bigger then ourselves? If we lived like today was our last day would we lay down our lives for the kingdom of Christ and begin to fina
