Fear

Fear is a word in which is commonly associated with discomfort, distress, and overall negativity. In today's society, the feeling and emotion of fear is a common part of our every day lives, this being so, fear is not purely negative. I find it interesting that an emotion in which actually helps us to survive and thrive is put into the category of negativity. Think about it this way, if you may, fear sometimes prevents people from doing things they desire or chasing after their dreams, but fear is also sometimes the adrenaline and drive needed to go out and pursue those dreams and desires. Fear acts as a barrier of the mind when we consider something harmful, the fear encourages a step back and greater thinking. Fear can be a wake up call in a bad situation that we may not have realized was even bad.
